About Sunny Flowers

Sunny Flowers is a micro flower farm located in Havelock North, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Our passion for flowers drives us to grow a beautiful selection of blooms, including tulips, ranunculus, sunflowers, dahlias, lisianthus, proteas, peonies and more. This year we're offering a unique range of dahlia tubers for sale, perfect for the avid gardener.

We're committed to bringing the freshest flowers, in every colour, from our farm to your doorstep. With a focus on sustainability and quality, we take pride in growing, picking and selling flowers for every season.

Meet Anna

Hello! I'm Anna, the hands behind Sunny Flowers. 👋

I'm a mum of three kids (aged 5, 4 and 2, and yes, it's as full-on as it sounds), married to a builder who listens to all my crazy ideas and we have one slightly naughty dog who loves garden days too.

We're right in the heart of Havelock North. The kids go to the local school and kindy, and amongst the pick-ups and the cleaning… I grow flowers! Most of what you see is grown just 8 minutes down the road at my in-laws' orchard, where everything is grown outdoors and follows the seasons.

A few years ago, I was growing flowers on a much smaller scale. Then I took the leap to turn it into an actual business, to create something that allowed me flexibility around the kids. It's a real juggle, and a lot of my work happens outside of "standard work hours." But being here for our three little ones, all the time, makes it worth it.

What keeps me coming back each season is simple: I love growing beautiful flowers, I love the joy they bring, and I love gifting them too. If you've been around a while, you'll know I'm always running a giveaway of some kind 🌷🌸💐

My favourite part of this little business has truly been the people: the local customers, the local community, and I'd love to know who's reading this! Say hi over on Instagram or send me a message anytime.

Thanks,

Anna xx
